Readabler is a WordPress accessibility plugin designed to push the boundaries of access to information for people with disabilities and specific perception needs. According to the World Health Organization, more than one billion people worldwide live with some form of visual impairment, making accessibility an essential requirement for any modern website. This plugin is aimed at site owners, developers, and agencies that want to offer an inclusive experience to all their visitors, regardless of their visual, cognitive, or motor abilities.

It also includes orientation tools such as automatic generation of a page link list, disabling flashing elements like CSS animations and GIFs, large black-and-white cursors, and an on-screen virtual keyboard for those who cannot use a physical keyboard.

One of the most notable features is the text-to-speech function, powered by Google Cloud Platform's WaveNet technology, which converts text into natural human speech in over 240 voices and 40+ languages. The plugin also incorporates multilingual voice navigation, an integrated online dictionary with Wikipedia, and a page accessibility analyzer that evaluates compliance with standards such as WCAG, ADA, and Section 508 in real time.

Readabler is lightweight, fast, and built with native JavaScript without jQuery, ensuring compatibility with most themes and popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, and Gutenberg. User preferences are saved in the browser, allowing a personalized and persistent experience on every visit.
