wpForo Private Messages

wpForo Private Messages is an official gVectors addon that adds a complete private messaging system to the popular wpForo forum plugin for WordPress. It is designed for community and forum administrators who want to offer their members a secure and professional way to communicate directly, without leaving the forum ecosystem.

This addon allows users to send and receive private messages that can only be seen by the conversation participants. It supports both individual conversations and group conversations between multiple members, working similarly to email but integrated within the forum system and directed by username, without revealing additional personal information.

Its standout features include complete management of contacts and conversations from the user profile page, with options to block, report, delete, and hide contacts or message threads. The system uses AJAX technology to load messages dynamically as the user scrolls through the conversation, offering a smooth and fast experience. Additionally, it includes email notifications and pop-up notifications in the top-right corner of the forum when a new private message is received.
