WP Job Manager Resume Manager

Resume Manager is a premium add-on built on WP Job Manager that adds a resume submission form and resume listings to your WordPress site, all manageable from the admin dashboard. It is designed for job board owners, recruitment portals, and talent search sites that want to allow candidates to publish their resumes online and apply to job listings directly from the site.

The plugin allows you to set up a lightweight resume publishing site based on shortcodes, which means it works with any theme with minimal CSS adjustments and is really easy to install. The admin interface is very similar to that of WP Job Manager, listing submitted resumes and allowing the administrator to approve, edit, and delete them.

Among its main features are filterable resumes: the resume shortcode displays a list preceded by a search and filtering form powered by AJAX, with instant results. Access to resumes can be restricted using WordPress user capabilities. The submission form collects the candidate's name, contact information, websites, education, and employment. Candidates can add as many education and experience items as they wish, including notes, names, dates, and positions or qualifications.

After submitting the form, a preview is shown that matches the appearance of a live resume. Submitted resumes can be edited or deleted from the candidate dashboard if the user is logged in. Additionally, jobs that have an email as the application method can receive applications through resumes: a form is displayed asking the user to choose a resume on file and enter their message, which is sent by email to the employer along with a private link to view the resume online on the site.

Individual resumes display all collected data and feature a contact button that employers can use to view the candidate's email address. It is possible to restrict who can view resumes and contact data using WordPress user capabilities. Being built on WP Job Manager, it is a developer-friendly plugin, with custom post types, endpoints, and template files, allowing easy expansion through themes.
