RSVP Events Addon for MEC

The RSVP Events Addon for MEC is a premium extension developed by Webnus that expands the capabilities of the popular Modern Events Calendar (MEC) plugin in WordPress, adding a complete attendance confirmation system for free events, meetings, workshops, seminars, and corporate activities. It is designed for organizers who need to manage attendee lists without the complexity of a ticket sales system.

With this addon, visitors can confirm their attendance with just their name and email address, also indicating how many spots they need for their group or companions. The system allows displaying the number of RSVPs received and remaining spots directly on the event page, generating excitement and urgency among potential attendees.

Its most notable features include:

• RSVP for full groups: attendees can register multiple people in a single confirmation, indicating the total size of their group.
• Unlimited modifications: users can change their RSVP status at any time from the form or the event page.
• Customizable forms: a form builder allows adding custom fields such as text, dates, files, checkboxes, dropdown menus, and more, adapting to the specific needs of each event.
• Visible guest list: shows who will attend using name bubbles, fostering community and engagement before the event.
• Limits and restrictions: controls maximum capacity per event, limits RSVPs by email or IP address, and restricts access to registered users only.
• Automatic notifications: sends confirmation emails, reminders, and personalized messages based on RSVP status.
• Verification and confirmation: options for email verification and automatic or manual confirmation to maintain full control.
• Cancellation period: defines specific time windows during which attendees can cancel their RSVP.
• Thank you page: redirects users to a custom page after completing the form.
• Spam protection: integration with Google Captcha to keep forms secure.

The addon offers global configuration from the MEC panel, as well as individual settings per event, allowing customization of forms, limits, and display options for each activity. It includes shortcodes like [mec-rsvp] to insert forms on any page and [mec-my-rsvps] for users to manage their confirmation history. It is the ideal solution for communities, companies organizing internal training, marketing agencies, and any business that relies on recurring events and needs clear, organized control of their attendees.
