myCred Pending Points is an official add-on of the myCred ecosystem for WordPress that allows administrators to hold points awarded to users in a pending state for a specified period of time. Instead of crediting points immediately when an event is triggered, this add-on introduces a review mechanism that gives the administrator full control over when and how points are released.
The tool is designed for sites that use gamification systems, rewards, memberships, or loyalty programs based on points, where it is necessary to verify the legitimacy of actions before crediting balance to users. With myCred Pending Points, the administrator can configure points to be held for a specific number of days, after which they are automatically released, or manually review them and decide whether to approve or deny them.
Among its main features are the ability to apply the hold to all log references or only specific references, as well as the exclusion of user roles, individual users, badges, or specific ranks. It also allows excluding manual adjustments made by the administrator, so that administrative corrections are not subject to the waiting period.
The add-on includes a dedicated Pending Logs page within the myCred panel, where all pending points are displayed clearly and organized. From there, the administrator can release points individually with an immediate payment button, delete pending logs individually or in bulk, and once released, the logs are automatically moved to the default points log.
Additionally, it offers a mycred_pending_log shortcode that allows end users to see a table with their own pending points, promoting transparency and trust in the site's rewards system.
