LearnDash LMS Notifications Addon

The LearnDash LMS Notifications Addon is an official extension of the LearnDash ecosystem that allows you to automate the sending of emails to students based on the actions they take within your courses. It is designed for online academies, virtual schools, tutors, and administrators of e-learning platforms who need to maintain constant and relevant communication with their students without relying on manual follow-ups.

This addon is activated through configurable triggers that detect key events in the student's journey. Among the more than 17 available triggers are enrollment in a course or group, completion of a lesson, topic, or full course, passing or failing a quiz, submission and approval of assignments, essay submission, user inactivity for a certain number of days, and notices before and after a course expires. Each notification can be configured for a specific course, lesson, topic, or quiz, or applied globally across the entire platform.

One of its great advantages is dynamic personalization through more than 34 shortcodes that automatically insert user, course, lesson, or quiz result data into the message. You can greet the student by name, include the course title, link directly to the next lesson, or show the score obtained in a quiz. Additionally, it allows you to define additional conditions to further refine sending, such as sending only to users who have completed a specific course or belong to a certain group.

The addon also offers flexibility in scheduling sends, allowing you to delay notifications by a certain number of days after the trigger. Recipients can be the user themselves, group leaders, site administrators, or additional custom email addresses. This is especially useful for sending re-engagement reminders to inactive students, congratulations for achievements, or access renewal notices.

With an intuitive interface integrated directly into the WordPress admin panel under the LearnDash menu, creating notifications is a simple process that requires no programming knowledge.
