Kadence Custom Fonts is an official extension of the Kadence WP ecosystem designed to integrate custom typographies into WordPress sites in an organized and professional manner. It is intended for those who need to go beyond the standard Google Fonts and wish to incorporate their own or brand typographies into their web projects, maintaining a coherent visual identity in online stores, corporate sites, and brand projects.

The plugin allows uploading font files in modern formats such as WOFF and WOFF2, as well as additional formats like EOT, TTF, and SVG to ensure compatibility with older browsers. It also offers the possibility of importing Adobe Fonts projects via Type Kit, which considerably expands the available typographic options. Each published font is automatically integrated into the Kadence theme options panel, allowing it to be assigned to headings, paragraphs, buttons, menus, and any other site element without touching a single line of code.

Among its most notable features are the configuration of fallback font stacks, precise control over the weight and style of each font, and the option of lazy loading with display swap so that text is shown with the fallback font while the custom font is downloaded, thus improving the site's perceived speed. The plugin also allows self-hosting fonts, which reduces dependence on external services and optimizes overall page performance.
