GravityRevisions

GravityRevisions is an official GravityKit extension designed to add a complete version control system to Gravity Forms in WordPress. Built for websites where multiple users edit forms and their entries, this add-on allows you to track every change made, know who made it and when, and restore previous versions with a single click.

The tool works on two levels. On one hand, it records all modifications made to form entries: every time someone edits an entry, a copy of the previous version is automatically saved, showing exactly which fields changed, who modified them, and when. On the other hand, since version 1.4, it also manages revisions of the forms themselves, allowing you to browse a version history of the form, preview how it looked before a change, restore a previous version, or delete unnecessary revisions to keep the history clean.

Among its main benefits are the ability to restore specific field values or the entire entry, configure email notifications to stay informed of future edits, and view the last update time of each entry. Additionally, it integrates natively with GravityView, allowing you to display entry revision history on the front-end of the site using merge tags and custom content fields, facilitating audits and collaborative workflows.

The interface is familiar to those who already use WordPress, as it employs the same revision comparison system as the core. It requires no complex configuration: simply activate the plugin to start tracking changes, or enable form revisions from each form's settings. It also includes well-documented WordPress filters for those who need to customize its behavior through code.
