Gallery Custom Links Pro is a premium extension for WordPress developed by Meow Apps that solves a very specific problem: assigning custom links to each image within the CMS's native galleries, without the need for manual tricks or writing code. It is designed for photographers, designers, online stores, agencies, and content creators who use galleries in catalogs, portfolios, service listings, or promotions and need each image to point to a specific URL, such as a product page, a sales page, or an external resource, in a controlled and consistent way.

The plugin adds two fields directly in the WordPress media library: Link URL and Link Target, as well as additional attributes like Link Rel and aria-label. When at least the link URL is configured, the image automatically becomes a clickable link whenever it is used within a gallery, and the lightbox is automatically disabled for those images. This allows galleries to function not only as visual elements but also as structured navigation tools.

Gallery Custom Links Pro is compatible with the native WordPress gallery, the Gutenberg gallery, and the Meow Gallery, and works with any gallery plugin that uses the gallery class and responsive images (src-set). The plugin offers three processing engines to adapt to each installation: HtmlDomParser, very reliable and writes links directly into the HTML; DiDom, faster but requires perfectly valid HTML; and Javascript, the fastest option, which applies links only in the visitor's browser.
