EDD Cross-sell and Upsell (2333)

EDD Cross-sell and Upsell is an official Easy Digital Downloads extension designed to increase the average order value in stores that sell digital products with WordPress. It is intended for businesses that already receive traffic and sales and want to make better use of each transaction without changing their current way of selling.

The extension implements two complementary sales strategies. On the one hand, cross-selling suggests additional products that complement what the customer has already added to their cart, showing them directly on the checkout page. On the other hand, upselling recommends similar products of higher value — such as packages or bundles that include the product being viewed — and is displayed on the individual product page.

Configuration is simple and intuitive: from the Cross-Sell & Upsell metabox on each product, you can select which items you want to offer as cross-sells or upsells. Additionally, you can customize the headings that appear above these recommendations, both globally and per individual product, to match your store's tone.
