Easy Digital Downloads Custom Deliverables

Custom Deliverables is an official extension for Easy Digital Downloads that allows sellers to deliver custom files to each customer after purchase. It is specifically designed for those who sell custom digital products, made-to-order services, or personalized work that is created once the transaction is completed.

With this extension, each order includes a dedicated Custom Deliverables section within the order details, where the seller can upload the custom file corresponding to that particular customer. The buyer can access their files at any time from their account, and downloads are protected and logged by the same security system that Easy Digital Downloads uses for its standard deliverables.

Its main features include:

• Custom file delivery per order: associate unique files with each transaction, ideal for design work, photo editing, custom templates, tailored documents, or any digital service that requires a specific deliverable.
• File group management: allows you to choose whether the customer accesses only the product's default files, only the custom files, or both.
• Mark orders as completed: each product in the order can be marked as fulfilled, and when all work is finished, the order is shown as completed in the admin panel.
• Automatic customer notification: with a single click, an email is sent to the buyer informing them that their custom files are ready to download. The content of this email can be edited from Downloads > Emails > Custom File Delivery.
• Integration with Frontend Submissions: sellers in a multi-vendor marketplace can deliver custom files directly from their vendor dashboard, without needing access to the main admin.
• No initial setup: once the extension is activated, no prior adjustments are required; the Custom Deliverables section appears automatically in each order detail.

This extension is especially useful for freelancers, agencies, service providers, and stores that sell downloadable products created after purchase, such as video editing services, photo retouching, graphic design, document writing, or any other unique deliverable. It can also be combined with the EDD Upload File extension to create a complete customization flow: the customer uploads their files at purchase and receives the finished version securely.

If you sell digital products that require a unique deliverable per customer, Custom Deliverables simplifies the entire delivery process and keeps the shopping experience professional and organized.
