Download Monitor Terms and Conditions is an official extension of the popular Download Monitor plugin for WordPress, developed by Sigma Labs SRL. Its main function is to require visitors to accept your terms and conditions before they can download any of the files you offer on your website. This tool is designed for site owners who distribute digital content, downloadable products, software, documents, templates, or any type of file that requires prior legal acceptance by the user.

The extension adds a new option called Terms & Conditions Required to each download managed with Download Monitor. When you activate this option and save the download, visitors will no longer be able to access the file without first checking the acceptance box for your terms. This allows you to legally protect your content and ensure that every user who downloads a file has read and accepted your terms of use, which is especially relevant if you distribute copyrighted material, usage licenses, or paid digital products.
