Download Monitor Advanced Access Manager

Download Monitor Advanced Access Manager is an official extension of the Download Monitor ecosystem, developed by WPChill, that allows you to create advanced access rules to control who can view and download each file in your digital library. It is designed for WordPress administrators who manage protected content, memberships, internal documentation, premium materials, or digital products segmented by user profile.

The extension adds an access rules panel both at the individual download level and globally. You can combine user roles, specific users, and IP addresses to define very precise access conditions. For example, you can restrict a file to a specific role, allow downloads only to certain users, or block unwanted IP addresses. Additionally, it includes advanced restrictions by date range or by the number of allowed downloads, which is ideal for online courses, subscriptions with monthly limits, or temporary promotions.

One of its great advantages is the creation of global rules: you can define access policies that automatically apply to all your downloads, and specific rules for each file will take priority when they exist. This greatly simplifies the management of extensive catalogs, as you don't need to configure each file individually if you already have a general policy in place.
