Advanced Organizer Addon for MEC

The Advanced Organizer Addon for MEC is a powerful plugin designed to enhance the event organization experience in WordPress, providing dedicated profile pages for each organizer within the Modern Events Calendar (MEC) ecosystem. This addon transforms event management into a much more professional and structured experience, ideal for websites that handle multiple speakers, venues, or hosts.

The plugin is intended for administrators of event sites, conferences, workshops, and seminars who need to present their organizers clearly and attractively. With the Advanced Organizer Addon, each organizer gets their own profile page where their name, address, website, and phone number are displayed, creating a centralized hub for all relevant information.

One of the most notable features is the flexibility offered by its shortcodes. The [mec-organizer] shortcode allows you to display details of a specific organizer with options to limit events, toggle between list or grid styles, configure columns, and control the visibility of contact information such as phone, email, or social media. On the other hand, the [organizer-list] shortcode creates a complete directory of all organizers with search, filtering, random sorting, or sorting by criteria such as name, registration date, or number of events.

The addon also includes global settings that allow you to define the default behavior of profiles and event lists across the site. You can control the limit of displayed events, the number of columns in the grid, enable progressive loading buttons (Load More), filter only ongoing or past events, and choose how organizer title links behave, whether redirecting to their profile page or to their external website.

This plugin is especially useful for speaker directories at conferences, managing multiple venues with different organizers, and highlighting sponsored hosts on the main page using the featured shortcode. Its integration with MEC Lite and MEC Pro makes it a versatile and accessible solution for any WordPress event project.
